This site is about sharing knowledge, ideas, tools. It presents news, information and ideas, many of which are garnered by a middle aged engineer returning to college to study business.
The site has three key themes:
- Women – and fairness, and motherhood, and technology;
- Business – low-level stuff- the “way the world works” sort of thing;
- Society – and the environment and hope for a better world.

It is my intention to run this blog for eight weeks with 2 or 3 posts a week, by then it will have run its course or have a life of its own.
Next Generation Notions 
I certainly hope this blog develops a life of its own, its only now, almost 50, that I realise that gender equality does not exist, that I am expected to produce the same end results as my male peers, but I am not expected to demand the same pay. I am expected to bring home the bacon, and work hard, ( I like working hard), but still be there to collect small fry. As women we need to stand up, support each other and fight in a new and thoroughly modern way for what is rightfully ours in this 21st century world. Most of all, we could all do with the support and to know its ok to be bolshy and to try and get what you want out of life, and juggling is in the T&C’s.
